We are seeking a Commercial Director to join an industry leader within its specialist field. Our client has a diverse client base across the UK and seeks the right candidate to supplement its existing management team to deliver the next phase of strategic growth for the business. This role will be remote and the expectation will be to travel to client side to assist the sales team when required.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate growth through value proposition as opposed to price. Candidates should have experience of working with multiple product offerings and service-based contracts.
Responsibilities
Lead Sales, Service, Contract Management teams to exceed annual commercial targets set by the business.
Identify and develop talent within department to maximise effectiveness of meeting company goals.
Work with the Sales team to own customer tender process through to completion within required timeframes and maintaining required margins.
Collaborating with multiple departments to achieve desired outcome for customer and the company.
In depth understanding or market segmentation, trends, end user needs and channel implications.
Implement Sales Excellence strategies to drive performance and continuous improvement.
Define KPI and metrics to drive sales accountability.
Develop pricing strategies for all products and services to ensure revenue growth whilst and achieve margin targets.
Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
Consistently research and report on the market forces that may shift tactical budgets and strategic direction.
Oversee contract management team process to ensure compliance, value delivery and customer satisfaction.
Required experience & skills
5+ years experience in managing Remote Sales Teams with proven ability to develop Sales strategies and achieve the desired results.
Ability to build strong relationships and adapt leadership to working with various personalities within the team.
Manage stakeholders at all levels in the organisation
Execute sales process from plan to close and be able to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.
Experienced in leading change within organisations
CRM System experience
Flexibility to travel and a valid UK Driving License.
My client is offering between £70k-90k per annum + Bonus + additional benefits.
