Salary £30K – £40K depending experience

Job Purpose: To manage the day-to-day operations of residential and commercial properties, ensuring they meet the needs of tenants and comply with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting and collecting rent and other fees from tenants.
  • Managing the property’s finances, including keeping accurate records and paying all taxes and levies.
  • Hiring and supervising any staff employed on the property.
  • Maintaining the property and ensuring regular building upkeep, addressing tenant complaints, completing repairs, and contracting landscaping and snow removal companies.
  • Handling building inspections for prospective tenants or buyers.
  • Managing tenant screenings and evictions.
  • Enforcing occupancy rules.
  • Preparing regular property-status reports for relevant stakeholders.
  • Advertising units and negotiating lease terms.
  • Coordinating maintenance schedules with the Maintenance Coordinator.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Property Manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of property management and its financial aspects.
  • Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Valid real estate agent/broker license (if applicable).
  • BS degree in a related field.

Experience Requirements:

  • Previous experience in property management or a related field.
  • Experience with tenant screening and lease agreements.
  • Familiarity with local and federal property regulations.
